Who we are

Information used for your rental
When you request or place a rental, we collect the details needed to provide it: your name, contact information, billing details, delivery and pickup addresses, rental dates and windows, chosen package, access instructions, and your acceptance of rental policies. We also keep order, payment-status, cancellation, refund and customer-service records.
Please include only the access instructions needed for your rental. Do not put payment-card details or other sensitive personal information in order notes or messages.
Our website and hosting services may record technical information such as your IP address, browser information, pages requested and security events. We use this to operate and protect the site and investigate problems.
Payments and service providers
Payments are processed through Stripe. Card details are entered in Stripe’s payment fields. We receive transaction references, payment status and limited payment-method information needed to manage orders and refunds; our order records do not contain your full card number or card security code. Stripe handles payment information under its own privacy policy: https://stripe.com/privacy.
The website is hosted by GoDaddy and runs WordPress and WooCommerce. Authorized service providers process information as needed to host the site, handle payments, support communications and help us deliver rentals. We provide delivery or pickup personnel only the information needed for the service.
Cookies and measurement
The site uses cookies and similar storage for functions such as carts, checkout, account sign-in and security. WooCommerce may also record how a visit reached the store and the browsing session associated with an order. Browser settings can restrict cookies, but some booking features may then stop working.
Google Analytics and advertising tracking are not currently connected to this replacement site. We will update this notice and any applicable choices before adding new measurement or advertising services. We do not put rental addresses or access notes into marketing tracking events.
How we use and retain information
We use rental information to check availability, arrange delivery and pickup, process payments and refunds, communicate about your order, provide support, prevent misuse and maintain business records. We do not sell customer information.
We retain information for as long as needed for these purposes, including applicable accounting, dispute and recordkeeping needs. Access is limited to authorized people and service providers. Contact us if you want to ask about the information associated with your rental or request a correction or deletion. We may need to verify the request and retain records that are still needed for legitimate business or legal requirements.
Links and updates
If you follow a link to Facebook or another service, that service’s privacy practices apply. We may revise this policy as the site or our practices change. The published page will show its last-updated date.
AI-assisted customer support
We use an AI assistant powered by xAI to help prepare answers to rental questions, identify people interested in renting, and flag questions for a person at Stackd. This may include messages submitted through our website or our Facebook Page and comments on that Page. During testing, the assistant may prepare private drafts for our review without sending a reply or changing the visibility of a comment.
Please do not send payment-card numbers, passwords, government identifiers, medical information or other sensitive details in chat. We try to remove common contact details and sensitive number patterns before sending message text to xAI, but automated removal is not perfect. Your message and limited conversation context may be processed by xAI. We do not give the assistant broad access to customer orders, payment details or other customers’ information. Availability checks return only the information needed to answer a rental question and do not create a reservation.
We keep our encrypted AI review records for up to seven days, subject to the website’s scheduled cleanup. Ordinary rental/order records are retained separately under our existing policy. xAI’s standard API retention is up to 30 days for auditing; zero data retention has not been confirmed for our account. Disabling response storage alone does not eliminate that separate retention. xAI states it does not train on API inputs or outputs without explicit permission. Facebook interactions are also subject to Meta’s privacy practices.
AI answers can be mistaken. Existing reservations, refunds, disputes, injuries, privacy requests and unusual exceptions need a person at Stackd. Contact stackdtotes@gmail.com or 513-254-6952.
